Much better organizing there.īut, remember. When I use Notability (seldom, because I type notes) I end up storing them for long-time storage in Keep It. So they don't really compare to things like Notability which are more "note taking" than "note storing" apps. Although Keep It also have Mark Down funktionality. Completely without you doing anything yourself. This means that if you make the move you will actually get all data with you, and your folder structure and tags. And it also has the nice feature that it can read all the data directly from the Evernote app on your Mac. If I had 50.000 notes I would go for Devonthink 3. And since I syncronize to the mobile version (Keep It Mobile) on my iPad Pro, I can take my data with me in a very easy way. So Keep It is what I intend to use for the coming years. I am 69, so I do not want to bother with what happens in the daily use of Evernote while all the changes to the new Evernote grows up and gets it's new bugs sorted out. There are many ways to get stuff into Keep It. ![]() How about WebClipper?! - We used WebClipper a lot too. My wife loves that we now have moved to Keep It, It is so intuitive and both storage and organizing is very "Apple like". And you can search across folders and bundles at the same time. You can also collect any number of notes into "bundles" (like "related notes" oar a Photos album) as a supplement for the folder stucture. So she really likes that she now can have folders in 9 levels. She uses folders but not tags for organizing. ![]() So it is not for my wife, and we share our data. I have tried moving my measly 2.500 notes (with all the standard attachments, like PDF, Jpeg and Number files) and so on to both apps.Īs a retired IT person I would love to use Devontink 3 because it can do so much more than all other apps on the storage, retrieval and analyzing stuff. Both apps offer all the things we miss in Evernote. But since I live in the Apple-only world there are actually two competitors. Yes, when you need cross-platform it is hard to find something better than Evernote.
